Lots of interesting stuff in that area. The main downside is the high cost of living. (I have family in San Jose.)

And a chance to take more classes is definately a good thing.

Yeah, definitely not looking forward to the rent and state income taxes. :P

I plan to find a place with a co-worker though as opposed to living alone, so that should help out a lot.
