Yesterday I heard that a close friend and colleague of mine was killed while trying to help a stranded motorist on RT 80. His name was Joe Kempf. Very incredible guy and would do possibly anything to help anyone. I marched and taught with him. There are full stories about this on www.readingbuccaneers.org and www.yea.org I will truly miss him

So here I sit at the computer at 1am with a huge smile on my face! The reason?? I had another fantastic night out with Shayla. She is really incredible. Wow..I actually have plans for tonight.

Im going to do Tuba Christmas with Shayla. She called me early this morning asking if I wanted to go. Since I had no plans, I said sure. Im actually pretty excited about it.

9am Meeting at Symphony Hall in Allentown for YEA! Memorial Brass and the USSBA Concert Band Festival Series....

2pm Meeting at Giants Stadium--We are meeting with operations crew there to discuss future USSBA events there.

7pm--Meeting at the Hilton in East Brunswick. Band Directors forum about the 2005 Season.
