While I understand some of your points, this is a sensitive issue and I kind of think you're taking a rather over-simplified view of it. Consider these points

1. It is not my problem that people don't understand all the shit they need to do to immigrate here legally. If they come here, they should be able to do something so simple as filling out the proper paper work and know where it should go. There is really no difference between a European family coming here to immigrate then a Mexican family as each have the same standards. Fair is fair...
2. Nowhere did I never say that America was built on legal immigration, rather it was built on legal immigration. See...
I am for immigration as that is what America was built on, but we got to remember it was legal immigration.3. I don' live in Scottsdale nor do I have a mansion, as I live in a small one bedroom apartment in Florida. I go to school full time and work at least 20 hours a week. To say I sit on a high horse is pure bullshit. Yeah, if you can't take care of your kids THEN DONT HAVE ANY KIDS. Rather when they do have their 8 kids that they can't keep care of, my tax monies are being used to take care of family that is abusing that

I agree. I was at the AZ Capitol today for the protests, I didn't participate, I just watched. If you want to see Democracy, what America is all about, you should check out the pictures I took. They're estimating 130,000 in Phoenix and there wasn't violence. There was cheering and music and HUNDREDS of American flags. The streets were lined with signs that say, "In America, we vote" Unfortunately, many don't realize that a huge portion of these protesters were indeed legal and english-speaking, and all they want is to not be considered a "dirty mexican" because of their skin color and accent. What they did across the country today is what this country is all about. I know I witnessed history today, and I'm so glad that I did. It's too bad that it takes millions across the nation marching for our leaders to even think about changing our laws in sensible ways. We'll see how much more has to happen for their to be real reform...
i completely agree. they have every right to be here, just legally damn it. ok and in regards to the kid above.. i dont live in a god damn mansion in scottsdale, i work over 12 hours a day at a shitty restaurant plus go to college to help me and my mom pay for bills and keep our roof over our heads. and i dont think anyone has any right to be in this country illegally using my hard earned tax dollars just to bitch that they want spanish speaking schools. it doesnt matter what or who our counrty was founded on, its the fact of what our country is now.
I am a HUGE liberal, BUT... I always laugh when I hear or read things like this. You are what you are; you don't have to explain it with a label. At least that's how I see it.
