I'm beginning my second year of my master's program, but it feels like the first, because it's finally in person after last year's... stuff, which is starting to seem like this year's stuff but anyway we're in person for now, knock on wood. Stress stress stress... School is doing weird things to my emotions. I picked a field that's both technical and creative, and I love that about it, but trying to exercise both parts of my brain at once is tiring. And the studio work never lets up, by design. In a fit of weirdness, I spent all night writing a song and for the first time recording with modern equipment. Also made my first ever "music video," such as it is. Needs work, but it's a start.

Walking Home
I had a dream in which I was out walking and I ran across my cat (an inside cat but I guess not in the dream), so I picked him up and took him home. Except somehow I didn't walk home, but rather inadvertently to another, in reality distant and unknown place to which I had somehow memorized the way.
