It seems that the Victoria expedition was largely successful. We managed to make the ferry in decent time even after my mini-mission of helping my hockey team almost win. The trip took close to four hours but we still had ample time to relax and, good heavens, do a sound check. After arriving at the venue, we discovered that they were charging $

to top it off we waited a total of zero minutes for the ferry on the way back .. drove right on and they closed the gates behind us .. of course, we were shooting for the 5 o'clock ferry and didn't know there was a 4 o'clock ferry -- AND apparently no one else did either so it was not full
of course, it could just have been the aura of AWESOME which we collectively exuded in the unwashed-in-10-years malibu classic which brought all of the stars in alignment for our glorious departure after a weekend of supreme rock starring
