Well. I love lists, and lists of events that happened in chronological order are especially enjoyable.
First off, that dress is PRECIOUS. Love it.
Being ill, sadly, is NOT enjoyable. Getting a downer email from work probably only exacerbated your misery, and that sucks. I feel for you. Though you skipped a stage I always enter before the tissue-smother-wish phase, and that is the coddling-mother-wish phase. In these moments, I wish my mother would come to town with a full arsenal of remedies and baby the hell outta me. I've never really admitted that to anyone...
And if I'd known you were desperate for fb status updates, I'd have been doing that periodically, just for you. Hell, I often pine for them even when I'm not bored/sick/wasting time.
Thanks for reading and enjoying my list! You DO love reading them don't you? I often like writing in them, so we'll get along fine here on LJ.
Yes, the dress is stupidly cute. I hope to be germ-free enough for a shopping trip soon.
The email was more like a "FUCK!" moment, than a 'ruin my whole day' thing. Mainly because it's one of those things where I just have to be like, "i'm sorry--i gave you slightly incorrect information, due to the fact that it was my FOURTH day on the job." And you know, what happens happens. But it was dumb to add to my misery.
I was *this* close to asking my mom to come down! The thing is though, my mom will CLEAN EVERYTHING way before she coddles me. And this place is quite a mess for her to have fun with. But around 10:30, when I really really considered the ER for some medicine, there was no one else I wanted to drive me. That seemed a bit late though.
Working on feeling better. It's also, btw, what's been holding up me planning our dinner. Hopefully soon.
Abby, being sick (which I have been for two weeks, with bronchitis...though not deathly bed-ridden like you) now officially reminds me of you. Which is hott, obviously.
Now I'm self-conscious about my incredibly weird fb status. It's a really bizarre reference to a British tv show called Look Around You, and it made me laugh out loud (I'm weird, I know).
Lots of fluids, lots of rest. Hopefully they'll give you some good stuff medicine today. Keep feeling better! :)
