:) thanks. i am wearing The Coolest Pantyhose In The World right now!
and I will take good care to be careful with your things. I think you deserve general care and carefulness. not because you're fragile, but just because you're wonderful.

sometimes you have this way of saying things that are somewhere inside my body but I can't put into words. so thanks, and a hug for you.

I decided to respect your friend's wish by staying out of her journal, but I wanted to reply to your comment at least to note that it was very well said. Given that I have no basis to relate to womanly shame in a significant way, I appreciate you taking the time to give me that perspective.

On a lighter note, it's nice to also see that you have excellent musical taste! David Byrne has one of the most amazing voices of all time, not to mention lyrical ability and delivery.. and Tom Tom Club is perfect for when you need something a little more dancey ;) I don't know how complete your collection is, but if you need some more to listen to, I can probably hook you up.

I respect your respecting me :)
David Byrne is amazing! 'Burning Down the House' was my favourite song when i was 9, so rediscovering him when I was 18 was the best thing I ever did. I have a decent collection, but am out of harddrive space, so will wait until I get my new laptop (fingers crossed) to get the older stuff/the rarer stuff. I really want to get 'Rei Momo', because I hear it is awesome. The only older one I have is 'Uh-Oh', but I have Grown Backwards, The Forest, Looking into the Eyeball, and Feelings, which have kept me going for the past couple years quite nicely. Thanks for the offer, though.
Tom Tom Club is amazing, but I hate Mariah Carey a little bit more everytime I think about how she sampled it. Hate. Hate. Hate.
I've been playing Tom Tom Club and Naive Melody back to back for days, on my "Super Awesome Exxxam Mixxx" that is mostly Byrne, tacky rap, the runaways, and a feist remix. Does the trick.
And seriously, if you haven't already, his blog and art are amazing!

I was about 16 when I discovered Talking Heads, one of my frisbee buddies (around 30 I guess at the time) had Stop Making Sense playing at a party after a summer league tournament, and I absolutely fell in love with Burning Down the House and Psycho Killer, plus the Tom Tom Club guest appearance...

Delete some porn and I'll send you some of my older favorites ;)
