At work, I lead an anger management group for 8-10 year olds who have been referred to us by Juvenile court. Yesterday was on positive thinking. We did this exercise where we read through all of these positive self-talk/healing statements, and chose our favorites to write on little cards to keep with us, or on a mirror or whatever. One of the statements was, "It is okay for me to say 'no' sometimes."

So yeah, it's okay to say "no," "not now," or "that's not okay."

Also, I like that one of your tags is "bums."

you, on the other hand, give me the warms, the giggles, and the respects.

It is always okay to say no. I've finally begun doing that this year, and it works extraordinarily well. You can do it too! xoxox
