I'm doing wonderful. After a slight depression about my lack of common interests with my friends, I got over myself and realized I'm not going to find anyone like my friends in the US here, but I'm not going to find anyone like my Spanish friends in the US and although we think differently they're wonderful people that have always been nice and ( Read more... )

I realized the same thing when I came back to school after Christmas break. Before Christmas I was dwelling on how in SB no one was as deep and connected with me as my friends at home, and when I got home I realized that maybe those relationships can get too deep and dark because of our histories with each other, and it made coming back to what was fresh and not very deep kind of refreshing and fun. I can't do what I do with my friends in SB what I can do with my friends at home and vice versa, and I realized that Santa Barbara is actually a cool place to be and that I have some good relationships in the making.

That was long and self-centered, and I should have just said, "Wow, you verbalized that concept for me." I miss you Christy!

I miss you too Miss Ashley Marie. There are like 456 bad telenovelas here. Sometimes I'll get wrapped up in one for like an hour and I'll be laughing my ass off at how bad the acting is. Ha haahahaha.
