No wait, that's not funny at all.
It's only funny if you know it isn't true, which he did and you didn't.

Well, I admit, I LOL'd reading it. But I assume because I knew beforehand. Which I think was also the problem with the joke. HE knew beforehand too and just failed to take into account the emotional trauma about your children. If it happened in reverse, I expect he wouldn't think it was funny either.

I sure hope it doesn't turn out that his "joke" comes to fruition. If they eventually discovered such a horrible thing it certainly would be bad.
