Chips
My cube neighbor is eating a huge bag of jalapeno chips and they smell delicious. I know I should be used to him eating large quantities of chips each day, but each time the smell gets to me and I want some just as bad as the day before.

A doggy Christmas
I love the presents I got my dogs more than I should, but I can't help myself. Each year they get a stocking full of bones and treats, but these year they are getting some fabulous toys to go with it. I got them each an educational toy. I'm curious to see how it goes...

My dogs are lemons
On Thursday, Macintosh went to the vet for his annual shots. The past few weeks I have noticed Macintosh vomiting more (sometimes more than once a day), so I brought this up with the vet - who brought me no comfort in telling me how abnormal this is. I'm finally ready...
I was never more proud of my grandpa than at my grandma's funeral. My grandpa died when I was 8, and in that time, I only had two memories of him - that he was a military man who scared the daylights out of me and that he loved me more than anything. My grandma (dad's side) was hospitalized yesterday and it is not looking good. My family has been expecting her to pass for the last 10 years or so, but she kept going strong. Four years ago, she moved to the nursing home area in her retirement community - with that, she lost her will to live, but her body was still going strong. In these past 2 ( Read more... ) -
WIne Country
And now for the booze filled portion of my trip.
If you've never been to Wine Country, I suggest doing what we did - spend one day in each area. It worked out wonderful and now we know our favorite places for the next time we go back and stay in one spot.

San Francisco
