visit Vung Tau R, there's speed boat that takes you there in 45 mins, pleasant AC ride from the harbor of Saigon for $5 one way. Vung Tau is a very beachy resort, sorta like an island, it's 2 hrs south of Saigon by car ...sorry i didnt get a hold of L for you, he's back here in the State for the next 3 weeks. Enjoy your trip!

I'm really sorry I didn't call sooner. Its been boat to bus and Jay and I have stayed away from the Internet cafe's. Sorry to have to write this to you on LJ but Hotmail isn't working.

Great talking to u yesterday. We went and got custom suits made for about $40 each. They look great but the best part was the agressive negotiation that Jay and I did. I have a pic of the lady's face during the shakedown. She looks like we just foreclosed her home or something.

No more bus for us. We splurged and will fly to Hanoi tonight instead. Planning to see the hill tribe people in Sapa and make use some of my Merrills (which they can also make here for $18 btw).

Send me your hotel info in Hawaii.
