So I finally got a call back from Canyon Ranch today offering me the hiking guide position I had interviewed for. Yay! It's not as if I'll get rich off of this endeavor, but some money is better than no money. Plus, it's much better than a mindless, repetitive job which I may get paid more for, but would no doubt be depised by me.

So. This is my first official post back from my summer internship. It's about time, eh? Naturally, I have a lot of things to say about this summer and what's been happening since, but am too lazy to write them out at the moment ( Read more... )

...were good days, relatively speaking. Both have been tiring and jam-packed, but productive and bearable. Ah yes, during a bout of prolonged writer's block, I found it most satisfactory to treat myself to a new mountain biking saddle from eBay. After losing previous auctions, I decided that I just didn't want to wait any longer. It's the Terry Butterfly, an Italian-made leather women's saddle. Ain't she a beaut'?
