On the occassion of my the end of my first year in chicago
Yes, I've been in Chicago one year, today. Christ, I love this city. I'd give it a big ol sloppy smooch if I could.
So much has happened for me here in the past year. Some good, some bad. And, of course, much which was neither good nor bad.

ok i woke up with a huge fever (101 degrees, are you very impressed?) and thus did not go to work, which i think is pretty understandable. feeling halfway normal now due drugs, drugs, orange juice, drugs and a certain ms gracie outer-spacie who prevented me from dying by sheer force of soup.

Last night Landmine taught me two new games!
One was called "I'm touching your face -again!"
The other was called "I'm getting under the covers OK I'm getting back out now!"
Landmine can play both of these games for hours. -

Grace and I have already made plans to see The Hold Steady at least twice this summer: once here in Chicago and once in Minneapolis.
I'd really really would have liked to have seen them in Brooklyn, where they'll be playing with fucking MISCHIEF BREW.
That show's already sold out though. Ugh!
Oh well, you cannot have everything!
