So it's my first weekend in Boone in awhile, 
and I am already in for the night.
I am okay with that though, I want a really good night's sleep.

I started my Foreign Exchange Student process today, 
and I am so excited.
If all goes as planned, I will be studying at the University of Western Sydney
Spring 2008.

everynow and then i remember.
sometimes i remember what i lost and other times i remember what i had, 
but right now i remember all the bad parts.

it is not fair,
and i won't ever understand.
however, as i get older i understand
what i lost more, just not why i had to.

I was kind of scared to burn a candle in my room because I was afraid to get caught, 
but then I saw a girl with a gerbil on the elevator.
Boone would be much better if it included 3 things:
1.)Target
2.)My sister
3.)Katie Baker

On ads for convertibles or cigarettes there is always a girl with her hair blowing in the wind. Her (always) golden locks blows straight back in the wind with out getting tangled or knotted. This just isn't reality. My mousey brown hair blows in my face, distorts my vision and knots in twenty-seven different places.

Regina Spektor is singing over twangy country tunes, 
and it is making me want to stand up and dance.
Earphones prohibit that though.

Today was real nice.
I got to sleep in a little, &
the weather was perfectly cold.
Then smiles.

Really, yay for good friends here.

So I am majoring in Recreation Management, 
and I feel extremely positive about that.
However, my advisor didn't really know ANYTHING about it, 
so I am a little in the dark about some things.
I am dropping my American National Government class
because it is killing me.
Next semester=

Why is it that I will go so far out of my way for a friend, 
yet they are unwilling to give me an inch?
I am tired of letting some people walk all over me, 
taking advantage of my love.

I don't love just anyone, or just say everyone is a "best friend".
However, I guess I should stop being even slightly liberal with both terms.
