Serial adder.

I joined especially to post about one user. serialadderinfo added me as a friend a while ago, along with adding some 700 other users. This person says he uses some sort of code (I know little of that stuff) to randomly collect usernames from the Recent entries list and add them. On his Info page and in his journal, this person quotes the TOS repeatedly, boasting ( Read more... )

What's your problem at all?

That is an interesting analogy. Here in Finland atleast, photographing public places is legal, but taking photos of private persons without asking for permission is illegal. Invasion of privacy, or something.

And the entry was all about me trying to explain why I think it is a bad idea that the terms of service allow serial adding, and hoped to get some converstation going on about how it could be stopped. But I was new to the community then, and didn't yet know that it for a large part is mostly occupied by those who are serial adders, or spammers, or some such. So obviously they are going to have little patience or sympathy for someone like me.
