I was trying to back up my car after driving halfway through an impassible street. Since backing it up all the way didn't seem possible and there was no way to turn around on the street (it's a divided street with one lane each way) I thought I would back it up on the the sidewalk over curb and turn it around that way. When I think about my upcoming move to MN, I feel bombarded with many emotions of hope, inspiration, anxiousness along with a slew of other indescribable emotions. I ended up not only mourning the death of my beloved Smudge (grey and white cat I had since I was 12 that died in July) but also the death of my Figaro, (cat I had since I was 14 that died the night before I arrived to my parents house. :( Smudge was named that because some of his grey looked like a paint smudge on his face, and Figaro, well I ( Read more... )

Got home from work safe, but the drive there and home was no picnic. I also got stuck in the parking lot of my workplace and seriously contemplated staying the night. I am feeling so relieved that my work place managment team finnally hired some new people. It will be a while before they start and are trained but I was really getting sick of all the overtime and switched shifts. Now maybe I can go back to having a regular sleep pattern for a while. At some point doesn't there have to be a solution. Ignoring the problem doesn't make it go away it just makes it get worse, well usually.....
