We do allow animals as residents, but they must be sentient and able to communicate through human speech.
In the question of mortality, we would ask that your character be one or the other. We would more readily accept mortal, since the only immortals on the island are those we've put there.
To answer the other questions, we would have to read the application. You are welcome to email it instead of posting it first, if you'd like.
Thanks for your interest and we hope to have you rping here on the island!
Hey mods, Eri here. In chat, I had asked a question about harming the staff and how far we can go with them and I didn't catch the answer before my internet hiccuped and kicked me out. Essentially, I would see Faith ICly poking and prodding at them to see what would happen but I'd rather not do it if it's something you wouldn't want to deal with and I would totally get why. Mostly I'm asking on the off chance that I could have her do that.
Any guest who attempts to harm a staff member will have their card key revoked, along with all funds and resort privileges. This includes shelter after dark. Also, anyone who attempts to help a resident guilty of this transgression, such as offer shelter or aid of any sort, will suffer the same fate.
It's generally a good idea to just let them go about their business. :)
This is just a question about the luau. Is it going by American drinking age (21) or 18? Maggie Mui is 20, so I'm curious about what kind of punch she'd need.
can i ask why we have to have a fandom also? I have seen TONS of rp's that look intriguing on livejournal, but I want my own characters, not somebody that was made up for me. Just wondering.

While we do accept original characters, we are very much particular about OC's and want to make sure everyone has a chance to participate in the rp.
Also, playing a fandom character and playing one well shows good diversity in a role player, proves their ability to take something already in existence and develop it through their own interpretation.
