I went for the death cab for cutie concert at the hammersmith apollo tonight by myself (sneakergaze we were last there for the decemberists! and ambientlight we went there for jónsi!)-- and it was AMAZING. I was constantly delighted by the set list; so many of the death cab songs I really love (mostly from plans and transatlanticism) were played tonight. namely crooked

SWEET MOTHER OF GOD (haha sorry idk) that is an excellent setlist. dies. I would've loved to see thissss. I love most of those songs! like, transatlanticism and plans goodness and also the best songs from the other albums. I haven't even listened to codes and keys haha.

I like what sarah said except oh god "love is watching someone die" :( and I will possess your hearts is pretty much just about the extended intro, for me. lyrically weak as heck haha.

put ben gibbard in a room with robin pecknold and I bet they'd just like, play guitars and shit and not say a word haha. oh and alexi murdoch, homeboy is quiet as heck. and then if damien rice came in errbody would probably start crying (ben gibbard would cry about zooey, can you tell I am still not over this). and then sufjan would come in with some kinda mind-altering substance and it'd turn into a partaaaay. -> aditi has weird fantasies.

I was sorely missing you!!!! crooked teeth makes me think of you for some reason lol maybe I have memories of you quoting it on some internet location or another? I still love plans and transatlanticism best (I think death cab's at their best when they use lots of piano haha
