I did a software update yesterday that required a system reboot at the end. Because I was in the middle of something I told the laptop I'd do it later. I don't shut off the laptop at night but only send it to sleep so there was no reboot this morning either when I started up the computer again. My ISP told me yesterday that a) I would get a call today informing me that everything is resolved and I can pick up my new router, or b) it would take another three weeks to clear up the mess.
