Throat, pain, pain, throat.

That pretty much sums up the last week or so.

Today I went to the state fair and that was fun, although it's usually more pleasant to eat those fatty foods. Still, I managed to eat a bunch of stuff that I shouldn't. Yum.

Is it weird to turn down parties to go see theater? Yeah, probably, but that's what I'm doing. I mean, I have this free fringe pass and more shows that I want to see than I can see. I'm afraid social interaction rates just a little lower ( Read more... )

So nine shows so far and counting. I've discovered something. The best part of the fringe is not the hectic running from theater to theater, from show to show. It's not wondering whether this one will be worth the time and money. It's not even being surprised by a great show. So things were working out with Dave for... three days. Well, that's what happens. Now all I can do is wait until college starts and find a nice guy at the U. With 20,000 choices, it can't be THAT hard.
