Pretty good beach trip. Relaxing. It was odd though, I had never seen such a flat gulf for the entire weekend. It was like a lake, no swells at all. I had Jury duty Monday, it was pushed back to Tuesday, I didn't get picked for the jury, was back at work for 11:30.

In 5 mins. I'm leaving for Gulf Shores with Julie, my parents, brother and one of my aunts. I think it will be fun. I'm just hoping Julie isn't miserable. She really doesn't like the beach.

I got my letter in the mail today! I had it open before I hit the sidewalk!

Now I'm just waiting for the official letter from the Louisiana board conferring my Professional Engineer license.

Sure would be nice to be fishing right now....Maybe a little chilly now, but its only 47degrees, but the high is 67. Oh well. Toledo Bend is in three weeks, and I'll be distracted with the PE exam for the next two weeks. Some weird things have happened recently...just mildly weird. I've been sick since Saturday, but I think/hope I'm getting to the end of it. I called the LAPELS office back and I'm approved for the exam. I will now commence panic and study mode. I was sick last weekend so I didn't get off to a good start with my review. I'm a little worried I won't have time to make it through all the material. I hope to make a lot of headway this weekend. If I do, I'll feel a lot better about it.
