Ace, were you as distracted by McDonnell's puffy and botoxed-looking face in the first S4 ep? It almost ruined the ep for me, and then in episode 2, she has her beautiful wrinkles back. I looked around some for an explanation, but didn't find anything.

And Sam's my favorite character, but not at all because he's hot. No, uh uh. Not at all. Nice arms.

I did notice, and I thought it was strange, but had read that theory that it was cancer treatment make-up. Except for the bad wig, she did look much better in the subsequent episodes, though.
