Okay, so I went to The Mod Club. I haven't been there since September, so I was REALLY looking forward to it. But it sucked. Like, it was just awful. That's exactly what happened to me and going to the ska shows around here... it used to be the most fun thing ever (in like grade 11), then i didn't go for a while and when i went back it was so incredibly bad because of all the people there.

Honestly man, you're in Toronto. Its population is several million people. In terms of square kilometers, it is one of the largest cities on the planet. If this was St. Catharines and you were worried about 1 spot getting killed by cliff hangers then I'd say yea, that sucks. But you're in a massive city with more clubs than you have sperm cells. So what if there's only a few spots where you can "conquer" the place by being dressed to the specifications of a dead (but cool) sub-culture ( ... )

The new Mod Club Theatre rocks my world. "Velvet Goldmine" Fridays are awesome too. I think I'll be there this Saturday infact as The Cooper Temple Clause are DJing after their gig.
