I dropped a bomb today! On a tank! It was a training mission on an old target tank out on the Nellis range. That was the headline on top of IMDB today. I was amused.

As they say, you can't spell manslaughter without laughter.

Air Force life is everything it promised to be, and thanks to a few lucky turns of fate, a whole lot cooler in many ways. I just found out today that I've been re-assigned away from the "Predator" position that I've been so excited about. Now apparently I'm going to be part of the first ever "Reaper" class of students, which is the newer, beefed-up version of the Predator. The recruiter I was working for let me have Friday off, which means that today was my last day, and Saturday is my first ever day of real actual leave. It's been pretty cool to be back, and I'll be heading up Sunday/Monday night to see Bellingham again. Can't wait.
