I need new boots too - my beloved playa boots disappeared when they were shipped to me out here. I can't find anything I can afford/like but am wearing cruddy sneakers everywhere and am going to be in the snow for the holidays as well. Good luck to you!

My last successful purchase of boots was from Ross, they were vegan boots even! Good luck with your boot quest. I noticed on my trip to Orange County that all the girls were wearing boots despite there being no cold and snow, like, ever. Not that I'm suggesting you take their boots from them, I wouldn't suggest that.
