Lately I feel like I am about to tear my life to shreds through some impulsive act. Beneath the constant debilitating stress there is a boiling sea of panic and desperation and I have trouble staying on top of the waves. As those of you who are sensitive to pollen have doubtlessly noticed, it's mating season for trees. While so many people are sneezing and choking because of the male gametophyte, it's the female gametophyte that's making my mornings slightly more startling. As you all know, Proposition 8 is a proposed amendment to the CA constitution to define marriage as between a man and a woman to eliminate same-sex couples' right to marry.
