Planet Earth on Discovery is the greatest show ever, especially in HD. I'd like to get the DVD release, but it only seems worth buying if you get the HD-DVD or Blu-Ray release. What a mesmerizing show. :)

Dammit, I tried to put that show on last night and Eric had a cow. "Are you kidding me? No nature shows on my tv right now. Get that off!" lol. I guess he can't deal with nature when he's writing a script.

I was sad, and then I put it on Home Movies.

God... I love that squid. Cephalopods are, like, so cool.

There was an X-files episode premised on the idea of a similar fungus that effected humans. It was pretty brutal. I never knew it was based on an actually organism, though.

The Planet Earth series make me feel like a little kid again. Haven't had that sense of curiousity in a long time. :)The other day I watched the Freshwater segment. It was great. What took the cake was the swimming monkeys. :0 I can't wait for the one on Forests and Caves.

I'm thinking about buying the set when I'm able to cuz it's edjumakashunul and I r needz to learn mo'.
