I really should come here to vent more... I'm in a bit of a rough spot right now. My babies dad wants to be a family but he treats me like shit when he's drunk ONLY when he's drunk... problem is he wants to drink 5 - 7 days a week. he's a sweetheart when he's not drinking but even then we dont have much in common our relationship is mostly physical

Do you think he is he happy in the relationship? I mean you did say he wants to be a family but... eh. That doesnt' mean necessarily that he's happy, ya know? Maybe you could come to some kind of agreement where you're there, together, for your daughter but still free to do what you want. That way, you're not making any kind of big decisions right now (like moving out and having to totally change lots of major things in your life right now). And maybe once Adam is out of his divorce, if he's ready to start a new relationship, maybe that'll happen.
If you're not happy though, you definitely don't need to waste your time with someone that's treating you like shit. You deserve so much more than that. Does he realize that he treats you like shit?

I think he's happy with the thought of being in a relationship... and yeah he knows he treats me like shit but he justifies it saying that his harsh words shouldnt hurt my feelings they should make me want to change...oh and i dont live with ray or adam. I dont think the open thing would work cause adam would kill ray if he heard the way he talks to me heh

Ah. see, for some reason, I assumed you and baby daddy live together. Jeeezus, now I understand why you were saying you're between a rock and a hard place. This is a difficult situation.
He justifies being a dick by saying that his words should make you want to change?! HAHAHAH. Yeah, you need to get away from him.

I'd hang out for Adam, no reason to be treated like crap. Drunk or not. That's not a life to be, sure he can be around for Aloura but a family unit I don't think so.
It's a tuff call. but i think Adam may be worth the wait.
