I saw "Children of Men" tonight. I actually cried in one scene. Bawled. Tears running down my cheeks. I had to wipe them discreetly haha.

Never have I cried so much in a movie theatre. I could usually control it to misty-eyed level.

I do all my major tearjerking at home.

That sounds dirty.

The scene where Kee and Theo leave this building with the crying baby, and people are reaching out and trying to touch the baby amidst the gunshots and explosions and then the gunfight actually comes to a halt because the soldiers see the baby. *SNIFF*

yet I just left feeling dejected. Like there was no hope even though that was what they were going for. It just made me feel sad enough that the person I was with felt a need to buy me ice cream so I didn't look like my dog died. Yikes!!
