I had a bit of a slacker week--my average was 8.3 points per day, while B's was 11.2. It was a rough week for both of us, with various sources of family drama sucking energy out of us--well, me more than him. I have no excuses, really. It was his family. Oh well. Last week was a pretty good week, housework-wise. B finished it up with a 12.2 average, and I with an 11.7 average. B did his usual coulple of Buttloads of Points days with Rest Days in between (19 on Monday, 7 on Tuesday, 9 on Wednesday, 16 on Thursday, 8 on Friday, and 14.5 each on Saturday and Sunday), while I stuck around 10 most of the week ( Read more... )

B did the dishes Saturday morning--and I only had to nag him 3 times! He got 7 points that day and 5 points Sunday, for an average for the week of 11.14 points a day. My 10 points Saturday and 12 points Sunday add up to an average of 10 points a day for the week. Occasionally I'll forget the point of this exercise and wish I was winning... I'm not sure how many points B got because he didn't write it on the whiteboard, but what I do know is he went to work, cleaned the litter box, and got the mail (6 points total). B's been kicking my ass. When I came home on Monday, he aldready had 16 points. I can't remember now what they were for, but I think it involved a lot of vaccuuming and dishes. I got a measley 8 that day. Then on Tuesday we were dead even with 11 each. Wednesday I slacked a bit again with 8, while he pulled ahead with another 11. Yesterday, though ( Read more... )

As I suspected, B's average went down a bit between Saturday and Sunday. With 9 points on Saturday and 5 on Sunday, his average for the week was 9.4 points a day. With my 13 points on Saturday and 9 on Sunday, my average was 10.9 points a day for the week. If we had the system set up, I would so be getting a massage ( Read more... )

Another day of rest for B--5 points for working (4) and getting the mail (1/2 since he didn't sort it, but I'll give him the full point)--brings his average down to 9.4 points a day for the first 5 days. As I predicted, B's abundance of points on Wednesday led to a pitiful 4 points on Thursday--for working. I allowed myself to go with just 9 points, since Monday's 12 gives me some leeway.
