Hey guys, everyone freaking out over Hunger Games? I know I am! I'm seeing it in about 7 hours ';sldf'as;dfk has anyone seen it yet? Tell me, what did you think

My thoughts: I really liked the way the camera was often unsteady - it made it really seem raw and real and unsettling. It fit the mood of the film/content really well.
I love that they kept the story simple and stuck to the main plot. The additions they made, like the control room and seeing more about the game makers and District 11 rebelling worked really well and didn't take away from anything.
I like that the games themselves were mostly visual. So much of that section of the book is Katniss describing everything and she's alone so there's not much dialogue so I like that they didn't try to add any and they just showed us.
Rue's death was poignant and heartbreaking and done so well even though it totally made me cry.
Snow freaks me the heck out! Great casting there. Can't wait to see his evilness develop in the second installment.
Oh my freaking God. Rachel, here's how excited I am about you resuming recaps: I'm going to catch up on the last two seasons of Mad Men just so I can follow along.
Haha oh my god, no pressure or anything!! The Mad Men recaps will be more wordy and less crazy than the Lost ones were, but we'll see what happens!
Also, you should read the Hunger Games books! I hate Twilight, but Hunger Games is an awesome trilogy and you will read them so fast it's ridiculous. I read all 3 books in 5 days last year. You can't help yourself.
Also I was damn skeptical about Hunger Games (forgive me, my wife made me sit through Twilight movies) and I thought it was very compelling-in parts it was riveting. Surprisingly great movie.
Have you contacted your hosting company? My site was hacked once, but they were able to go in and fix everything for me. Even if means wiping everything. You should have to keep paying for something that is malicious and infecting other computers (at least I get a malware warning when I click over).
Yeah, I asked them last summer and they said they don't offer the service ;_; they basically told me to hire a web developer. Maybe I should put an ad on craigslist or something haha. UGH. (P.S. I just contacted someone for a quote, keep your fingers crossed!)
Saw the Hunger Games on Tuesday, I absolutley loved it. My only complaint is that it's a little long but I'd rather it be long and close to the book than short and cutting important scenes. I'm also ashamed to admit I cried a bit during the movie but I'm a total wimp so it didn't suprise me that much. I'd love to go see it again.
