I feel like I have a lot of ideas, but I always forget them. ( cut for length )

As far as the "Indian people do your homework" process, it actually does happen - dunno how big the industry is but it's definitely in existence.

My college won't even let you have a goldfish. Not that I really mind. I've had personal experience with Hampshire students having pets, and as far as I can tell most of them aren't nearly responsible enough to take care of them. So I'm pretty supportive of the pet ban.

Hey Ian, Just a small point of interest. The highest AK dividend was 1900 thousand per resident (yr2000). Its usually much lower. Therefore you would have to "import" 2-300 more orphans. good luck with that. Hope all is well, Love Julia

Oh shoot, cause I was really gonna go through with that. So, duly noted. I hope Montana or Alaska or somewhere is wonderful. See you someday Julia.

"At Dartmouth you are only allowed to have a 10 gallon tank in your dorm room" <----- What on earth does this mean? is there some sort of problem at Dartmouth involving students smuggling absurd amounts of water into their dorms? For what purpose? to bathe in? to save on laundrey costs? to flood the bathroom? to fill a ten gallon bong?

on a sidenote, i now really want an aquatic hamster ball. I imagine this would not work (doesnt the water need to be oxygenated? or something of the sort...) but really, what could be cooler than taking your small octopus for walks in his hamster ball?
