A Sight to Behold

Jan 02, 2005 23:57

I realize that I'm much more comfortable in a bedroom where the bed is very low to the ground. With a high bed, there's such a seperation; a disproportion that seems most un-natural to me.

Anyone have any good advice on setting myself up with a very low bed?

I usually go with just a mattress, a la carte.

Futons work.
I know if I ever fall off, it won't hurt.

Have you fell off much?

btw, I've been listening to sooo much music lately, mostly 2004 stuff. I'll make a post about it all down the line, but if you find yourself wandering a record store with nothing to buy I highly recommend "Turn" by The Ex.

I never fall off unless pushed, but it's definitely possible. Mostly, I like to leave my head between two pillows, so I'm always in the middle of the bed, and one side is against a wall. It's only maybe a foot from the floor- so low, but with storage.

One of the most annoying places on earth, I always get lost in there and never find anything I like. Feliz Ano Nuevo.

I tend to agree really, but they do have low beds.

My stepdaughter's bed is very low because instead of a spring-thingey (I forgot what it's caleed, goes under the matress on the frame) the guy sold us something much cheaper and only an inch or so thick called a bunky board. Now there's a catchy name for a furniture piece. Say it with me...

your user name intruiges, I wish it were a riddle and I figured it out one night in my sleep and it caused me to wake up and think of many other useful ideas.

I wish my name was a riddle too. Then i wouldn't merely be psuedo-interesting. I would be pseudo-clever as well. Some people have asked me if I have an alien in my pants, but it just means that back in high school, i liked to read conspiracy theory. and that i wasn't cool.
