With the sun long gone and the beam of the lighthouse every so often peeking through the windows of my bedroom, my tired body fell on the soft mattress and welcomed slumber.  It had been another long day filled with chores and errands that didn’t really do much to divert my yearning away from you, my dear.

Oh my darling, I slept so badly last night.  The wind blew through the trees so vehemently that I had to get up more than twice to make sure it didn’t blow the hinges of my windows apart.  The ruckus was enough to make me re-think my decision not to sell this house.
