For those who know that my brother is stationed in Texas and are concerned about the killings at Foot Hood in Texas, I wanted to let you know that my brother is not stationed there. He is stationed at the army base in San Antonio, TX. I was extremely relieved to find out it was not at his base, but my prayers go out to the victims and loved ones...

The streak is finally over! I would say I can wear my Detroit Lions shirt proudly now, but I don't think it is a good idea to do so in Texas. However, I have always been and will continue to be, a Detroit Lions fan!

Well, we are back home in Texas but enjoyed a nice vacation in Christmas--- although I think 16 days is too long, especially in winter! It was great seeing snow again for the first couple days. Well, we have been in Michigan for about a week. It has been wonderful thus far. Adam and I had a snowball fight. I have been very excited for the snow--- Adam is missing the warmth of Texas!
