Home for the holidays
My wife and I took the 17 hour bus ride home,
from Detroit to the last stop in northern New York.
We crammed ourselves into the unclean behemoth sardine can,
where each minute was suspended in an eternity.

Turning Up the Music
I sit around dissecting my self, my writings, my sense of the world,
and my interpretations of life's purpose,
or lack of purpose.
Digging deeper and deeper,

My hours were cut severely at Burger King, and one lower-level
shift-manager, who's been working there less than half of the time that I have,

Sitting on my ass, and the Farewell Party
My wife and I are leaving for Detroit Michigan, in August,
and around the same time,
our best friends are moving to Florida.
Consequently, it'll make moving from this desolate
corner in northern New York so much easier.

I can hear the birds singing outside, and I can see the sun rising over
the green hill of the vacant golf course,
which means that it's nearly time for sleep;
another meaninglessly unproductive day has
been wrung loose from my tired hands.

I used to tell myself that I would never give into the vacuity
of posting blogs, but here I am, without any clear purpose.
Socrates would be disappointed.
