I just finished reading No Man's Land, by Franglaisy and Narciscia.

Have they or anyone else written fanfics that continue where their final epilogue left off?

That is one of my all-time favourite A/R fics. Unfortunately, no, I don't think that they continued in that 'verse.

That's a shame. I really enjoyed their concept of time resetting and I would have loved to see the next version of the timeline play out, given the last gasp-producing scene in the epilogue. :)

What other fanfics would you recommend? I'm completely new to the community, so NML was pretty much the first thing I read. I'd appreciate any recommendations from you, since you also thought NML was fantastic. :)

I really enjoy katamaran's fics. You can find all of them HERE. somadanne and larsfarm77 have also written some really wonderful long fics as well. I believe that they both have master lists of their fic on their LJ's so check those out. fragrantwoods and newnumbertwo and afrakaday have all written lots of long!fic as well, lots of AU too. They're actively writing still, take a look at their LJ's too. Ummm, that's all that my pre-morning coffee brain can think of right now. I'd definitely recommend asking around, maybe write a post here asking for recs? I am sure that I've missed lots of great fics. Like I said, I'm pre-morning coffee right now. ;)

Thank you so much for the recommendations! I really appreciate you taking the time to brainstorm. As I've said, I'm new to the fanfic community so it's helpful to have some star charts to help me navigate the seas. :)

On your guidance, I discovered katamaran's AU where Laura is a commander and Bill is a History Professor/Secretary of Education. I've read the opening chapter and I can't wait to read more. I am unreasonably excited about the prospect of Laura having the entire military directly under her command. :)

I read NML also and liked it too! Hope i'll find some fics I haven't read yet, love longer fics too!
