Ugh fire alarms suck. Happened to me too, thought it was my roommate's alarm clock. She did too, she was hitting snooze and it wouldn't stop! Then it clicks "Oh fuck, it's the fire alarm!" Crazy thing is, my old dorm was shaped like the letter E lying down, so only my little tower evacuated! Weird. What would happen if it was a huge fire and the other were left in their to die? Our reasoning they gave us was a sprinkler malfunctioned. Don't know if it's true or not though.

Wait, you mean that you have to take the SAT IIs on a day that you would usually visit Brown? Or that you're not applying because you don't have 3 SAT IIs? Is it still 3 now that you have the new SAT?
