Short sale
I just got an email back from John Klein--the short sale fell through. The past 4 months just flushed down the toilet. I can hardly even focus right now. I don't know how I'll make it through the rest of the day. And now it's back to the drawing board.

It's that time of year
It's time to find Forget December in the iTunes library and set it to repeat. Country Roads
My horoscope this morning said that this would be a good day to think and to ponder, and now that the day is mostly over that feeling seems to be kicking in. We're in West Virginia right now, and the sense of anticipation of reaching Annapolis seems to be growing. I wasn't sure this day would come, but now it's here. Adam's life is packed into a giant shipping pod, or in the back of his car. We leave the day after tomorrow.

Struck off guard by the iChat status message and it's immediacy--8 days left in California. I'm looking forward to the upcoming journey, but not the inevitable goodbye at the end when I fly west and leave him behind. -
Annapolis
I just got back from Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince with Adam, and I can't help but feel that I'm loosing a friend whom I'm going to miss dearly. I keep watching the clock expecting it to happen, but it's still only 10:49, and maybe this is case similar to the watched pot--you know, the one the never boils.

For a while now I've been catching the clock at 11:11 and I always seems to think of Adam whenever I see that symmetrical time displayed in the corner of the screen or atop the iPhone. Now that he's going to be moving to Maryland I don't know what to think. I'm going to miss my friend.
