Saw Grindhouse last night. I fucking loved it. Planet Terror was wild. I loved the 80s score Rodriguez made for it. After one of the puss bubbles popped a girl quickly walked out of the theater with her boyfriend following behind still trying to watch the movie. The trailers, my god. Zombie's trailer was the weakest part of the movie, hands down. I fucking hate that guy. His whole trailer was, "LOOK WHO'S IN MY TRAILER!" Ugh.

Planet Terror is possibly the most perfect movie I've seen since Repo-Man. Freddy Rodriguez is my new hero :)

There was a contest at SXSW for fan-made trailers. This one won. It deserved it.

I'd heard the same thing about Machete going direct to video. But I also heard that it might be included in Grindhouse 2. That was depending on the box office numbers though. Direct to video it is.
