I have to second what so many others have said, and plaintively ask for more. You've created an entire world in just a few snippets, and it's thoroughly intriguing and I do hope we get to explore a little more of it :)

Whew, this was wonderful. I loved the imagery of the air pirate ship, and Esca as the captain. It made me think of an animated film by Hayao Miyazaki. Most of all, I liked the unspoken tension between Esca and Marcus, and Marcus' mental confusion over whether he wants to caress Esca or murder him.

Please write more!
