Life is good.

I know the first couple months after moving here, all I thought about was moving back to Boston. I still love Boston, and maybe I'll be back there again someday. But right now, New York is definitely where I need to be. It suits who I am and who I want to be. Yeah, that's right -- I actually like it here.

It's January 1st, woohooo. We celebrated at Barna last night, and it was a good time. I'd worked a full day and had only 2 hours of sleep the night before and Emma was pretty tired too, so we left at 1:30. But there was lots of dancing, champagne, and great people. Oh my, It's been a while. Oops.

Let's see, work is going well, last week was crazy busy with Christmas and getting stuff out to clients. But it all worked out, so I'm glad about that. Another year until I have to tackle that mess again. And maybe by then, there'll be another newbie to do it instead of me!

Due to the weather's astounding capacity  for being a cockblock, I found myself yesterday morning having to cancel my trip to Boston. I don't understand how the year is almost over. Crazzyyy. But as we get older, a year becomes a smaller fraction of our lives, right?
