I have been told by a certain blond bombshell that my updating frequency (or infrequency, rather), is completely unacceptable. 2008 flew by. I don't think I minded it. It wasn't the best year. I'm eager to get 2009 under way and off to a better start.

Of course, everything that could have gone wrong during the move did go wrong, but the important part is that it is over, and I am HERE. The new place is perfect and gorgeous and waaay bigger than I initially thought. Rooms look way bigger with stuff in them. So... I think I may have found an apartment! It's in Forest Hills, and at first I thought it'd be too far of a commute, but the E runs express from there right to my office, and it's only about 20 minutes, 30 max. And there are no transfers, which is clutch. The neighborhood is beautiful, and it's a 5-10 minute walk to major stores and restaurants ( Read more... )
