i feel as though i am on the verge of writing something fantastic. at the same time, for weeks this book has been wrapped around me like a t-shirt that doesn't fit right, quietly choking me. that subtle pressure at the throat is maddening

I wouldn't just be sad to be without you because you're my friend and I adore you. You have a lot to offer this world. The world needs people like you, people who are awake, who care. Most of us aren't.

You are a remarkable woman, Sara. It would be a tragedy, an incredible sadness to lose a person as intelligent, generous, and gifted as you are. There is so much you have to give this world, and it's in your hands what you choose to do with the gifts and time granted to you. Just remember that the ripples of our actions can reach farther than we ever expect them to.
