Turns out I was right about Ryan. He told her how he felt yesterday. She told him she didn't feel the same and reached out to me for counsel. She doesn't want to go down the road of dating a friend again, having done so twice now. She also doesn't want to go along with it just to avoid hurting him. In short, I know what I dislike about myself and I know what I like about myself. 

Sharise's last day was Sunday night. Well, yesterday. I had an opening shift that day and, had I just gone home after, I wouldn't have seen her at all. I'm taking Duolingo's course on Vietnamese. I only started yesterday, but the bite-sized lessons are quite enjoyable. Hopefully, I'll remember to keep up on it every day and actually learn the language.
