Happy New Year! (i heart Berlin)

Yesterday I arrived in Berlin at 1pm. I left before 9 this morning. The appearance of my coat would suggest that I rolled in mud. My shoes and socks are soaking wet. My hair and sweater smell of fireworks. I am still covered in the remaining film from sweating for many hours. I had the best night in months ( Read more... )

okay, 2 things.
1) there were 600,000 people in Berlin...i read that in a train station.
2) holy shit! yeah, jacqueline. i, too, am excited about having a roucous time like we used to. think 2002-03. think live bands in small, cleared out living rooms. think moon walks. think costumes. think laying down in backyards. think laying down in the 1st floor watkinds bathroom. think lawrence. but until then, think getting fucking rowdy in europe.
ps, i had another nightmare about living in watkins last night. first one in 5 months.

I'm looking forward to a post or email about your holidays and wild adventures with the fam. I really really want to visit you this month. Let me know if that is a good or bad idea, when is best, etc.

jill-- could you email me your mailing address over there in germany? I was gonna send you some stuff i got over here in india ( i'm in india right now btw).

i'm going to my cousin's wedding on monday in our ancestral village. yeah, i've got one of those, and its about a day's train ride from madras (where i'm staying at my grandparent's house.) i was going stir crazy the other day so i bought stuff. now i need to mail it. erego, email me that address!.
