Buffy laughed and shook her head. "Not obsessed at all," she said before smiling over at Wesley. She was glad they were getting along but knew it would take Xander a while to fully accept Wesley. It was just Xander's nature to be critical of who Buffy dated. She wanted to think of it as him being like a brother to her, but she knew of the feelings he had for her in high school and knew some of them were still there. She was just happy he accepted her being with others.
"See you later, Xan," she said as he left the apartment. She then turned toward Wes and stood from the couch and went over to him. Wrapping her arms around him, she rested her head on his chest and took a deep breath.
"Thank you, Wes," Buffy quietly said. She closed her eyes and listened to his heart beat. "I'm glad you're here with me. I would be died if it weren't for you and for that, I'm grateful." Pulling back a little, she reached up and softly stroked his face. "I love you."
She leaned up and softly kissed his lips. The kiss slowly deepened and when they needed air, Buffy broke the kiss and grinned at him. "So, what now? Research? Or, can we go back to bed for a little while?" she asked, giving him a mischievous look.
