Hmm. The problem with the happy scenes from this show is that the ones that are really deep down happy are also really really sad because you know that the happiness is either short-lived or fake. I was going to go with the scene from my icon, but then you know that they only get four years and it's sad. Or the fact that the angels were watching over them, sure, but not all in a protective way. Sam and Jess being cute in the pilot or in WI&WSNB, but again: short lived; fake. Dean with Mary in WI&WSNB is so bittersweet. There are the brotherly moments- the reunion hugs, specifically- but it's also bittersweet because of all the other shit that's going on. Making me "happy"is not the same as making me laugh or smile. The thing I love most about this show is how much it makes me hurt. I know I put way too much thought into these. But there are so few scenes that make me happy without also making me sad, that it's hard to figure out. There's cute banter, whether it was between the brothers or other characters, but that's not really something that makes me happy, per se.
Okay, I had too much trouble, so I'll just go with one of my favorites. If I don't think too hard about what happened after, it's just really cute and sweet and it makes me really happy.

Okay, I found another scene that makes me happy. Once again, do your best to forget about what happens after. Just look at the joy on Dean's face!
