I did something today that I thought I'd never do.

I actually willing travelled towards Middlesbrough.

Thankfully this was the beginning of a 13 mile hike towards Saltburn that was really quite enjoyable. I hope to get more hiking done before the weather goes bad again.

I should also add that I'm very excited about hosting the next Maelstrom event. If anyone on my flist wants to try Maelstrom for the first time you're welcome to come along. I'm sure we can find you a place at the great Merchant Festival of Renumeration ( Read more... )

I think "David and the Incredible Machine" would also be a wonderful children's novel.

Working here I can't see anything particularly incredible.

Last week my plans for housing fell apart completely when the person I was supposed to be moving in with decided to pull out and not tell me. Thankfully I realised anyway and now need to find somewhere to live. I now have the option of pulling out of my flat and living with another person* or staying in the same place. I was supposed to be going to Death Unto Darkness today but instead I've spent the morning vomiting, shivering and running the mother of all fevers.

I hate being ill, but I especially hate being ill when there was fun stuff to do. Now I get to spend the weekend sitting around like a vegetable.
